239th Anniversary of the Battle of Charlotte

A long, long-standing tradition in the Charlotte area! Come by to see the annual reenactment of the famous Revolutionary War battle. Come by for live demonstrations, food, beer, and unique items by historic merchants.
Cornelius Food Truck Invitational
Sept 7 | 12:00pm | Oak Street Mill
Sixteen food trucks battle it out for four coveted awards – Best-Looking Truck, Most Creative menu, Most Nutritious and People’s Choice. Come by and enjoy the best the Charlotte area’s food truck caravan has to offer!
Davidson College Symphony Jazz Ensemble
Sept 15 | 6:00pm | Village Green
Led by J. Estes Milner, Professor of Music Bill Lawing, the Davidson College will perform big band jazz throughout the night on Village Green. The ensemble features accomplished members of the jazz faculty.
Sept 28 | 11:00am | LANART
This free, family-friendly event features live alpacas, live music, alpaca-themed treasures and beautiful art from local artists and vendors. Come by to have a fantastic time that your kids will always remember!
